Referenzen - ein schwieriges Thema...

zum Einen, weil sie für den Leser nicht nachprüfbar sind und zum Anderen, weil die meisten Kunden gar keine schreiben. Sie kennen das doch sicher selbst: Man kauft etwas und wenn irgendetwas nicht in Ordnung ist, dann wendet man sich wieder an den Verkäufer und reklamiert den Mangel. Aber was geschieht, wenn alles in Ordnung ist? Selbst wenn Sie mit irgendeinem Produkt oder einem Service ausgesprochen zufrieden waren, wie oft haben Sie dies den Verkäufer wissen lassen - und dazu noch schriftlich, so dass er dies als Referenz verwerten konnte?

Aber glücklicherweise gibt es doch immer wieder solche Kunden, die ihre Zufriedenheit mit einem hervorragenden Service zum Ausdruck bringen.

I've been trying to compose an appropriate testimonial regarding the excellent service I received, which began before the furniture and curtains were ordered right up to the delivery and installation but all that I would like to write would take up too much space. Suffice it to say that I am most grateful for all that you and your wife Helga have done for me. The furniture is lovely as are the curtains - many thanks to Helga for the latter. A big 'thank you', too, for having assisted me with the measurements, as well as having helped me to select the various items of furniture and their colours prior to ordering. Last but not least, the care taken by yourself and your assistants upon delivery and installation is also greatly appreciated, as is the fact that everything went as scheduled.
